Prax is a Chrome extension and a website. On some Google searches, the extension pauses the page and asks you to choose what to do next.
What Prax saves
- The words you typed into Google.
- The phrase that made Prax pause.
- Your choice: Proceed and log as exposure, Close tab and resist compulsion, or Dismiss.
- Your email, only if you sign in.
Dismiss still saves the search and the fact that you dismissed the pause. The button does not mean the search is thrown away.
Where it goes
Prax sends that information to a private database run by Supabase for this project only. Your sign-in is also kept in Chrome storage on your computer. If you pay for Prax, Stripe processes the payment. Prax does not store your card number.
How it is used
Prax uses this information only to run the extension and the website for you: to remember your choices, to sign you in, and to manage a subscription. Prax does not sell it. Prax does not use it for ads. Prax does not give it to other companies for their own use. Supabase stores it for Prax, and Stripe processes payments.
What Prax does not look at
Prax does not read your email inbox. Prax does not watch every website you open. The extension only runs on Google search pages.
